Vietnam Symposium on Leadership and Public Policy

We are excited to announce an intriguing event for IRSPM members in Asia, and colleagues from other regions who would like to extend their networks of collaboration and learn about issues in public management, public policy and public leadership in Vietnam.

The Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts (AVSE Global) in partnership with the Academy of Politics Region II will orgnize the 6th Vietnam Symposium on Leadership and Public Policy (VSLP-2024) in October 29-30, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This year’s theme is "Shaping Regional Development: International Insights and Practices from Urban and Public Management".

The symposium aims to foster collaborative research and share experiences among Vietnamese and international experts. This unique platform will bring together academics, practitioners, researchers, and policymakers to exchange knowledge on public management, leadership, and policy innovation. Participants will have the opportunity to present new research, exchange ideas, and discuss current trends and developments.

The event is set to feature keynotes from notable experts such as Ron Boschma from Utrecht University and Richard M. Walker from the City University of Hong Kong, and insights by Guest speaker Dr. Quoc-Anh Do from Monash University.

Supported by prestigious institutions such as the Business School of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Vietnam campus) and the Department of Public and International Affairs at City University of Hong Kong, the symposium promises to be a significant event contributing to the discourse on leadership and public policy.
