Jenny M Lewis Conference Travel Award
The IRSPM Jenny M Lewis Conference Travel Award supports an Australian Early Career Researcher to attend and present their work at the IRSPM Annual Conference.
About the Award
Established by IRSPM in 2026, the award will be presented for the first time in 2027. It aims to support the participation of an Australian Early Career Researcher whose accepted conference abstract demonstrates a strong scholarly contribution to public management and administration.
The award is named in honour of Professor Jenny M Lewis, an internationally recognised scholar in public policy and public management. Professor Lewis has received numerous awards for her scholarship, including the IRSPM Routledge Lifetime Achievement Award.
The award provides up to AUD 6,000 towards the recipient’s conference participation. This may support conference registration, one return economy flight, conference-related accommodation, local transport and meals.
The recipient is selected by an award committee comprising the IRSPM Awards Coordinator and two IRSPM Board members. Further information about eligibility, assessment criteria and the application process is published in the annual call for applications.
